What to Expect During Your First Visit
We look forward to meeting each of our patients at their initial orthodontic visits. Our new consultations are exciting and interesting because we are so passionate about your orthodontic treatment! Dr. Bakar enjoys providing individualized orthodontic treatment plans to each of our patients, thereby addressing the unique differences that each patient presents with. This is the most important step to properly diagnosing and treatment planning that will achieve superior results you will love.
Your initial appointment will consist of a thorough examination and discussion of potential treatment options. This important 60-90 minute visit will give us insight into your orthodontic needs. We may also reserve and additional hour after the exam for diagnostic records. These records include X-rays, photos and impressions for study models and are necessary for developing the appropriate treatment plan.
We always welcome open discussions during our consultations. By involving patients and parents in our consultations, we can most efficiently address your concerns and provide a clear plan to help you gain a beautiful smile and most importantly a solid bite.
During the initial examination, we will answer all your questions and address specific areas after careful analysis of the diagnostic records. We feel it is important to analyze each patient’s specific needs, because in-depth planning leads to superior results and higher patient satisfaction.
We will then schedule a follow up consultation visit to discuss treatment options, time frames and financial arrangements. We insist that our patients leave the office with a clear understanding of their specific needs, what the treatment will consist of and how long it will take.
